BIOGRAPHY

Travis Walton (April 23, 1957) is an American woodworker who at the age of 15 had an early intellectual awakening and showed signs of a high IQ, for which he was considered a prodigy. Furthermore, during that stage Travis began to read about philosophy, religion, art, languages and, above all, literature.

After graduating from high school, Travis continued his studies on university campuses, highlighting his studies at Northern Arizona University. Travis changed majors several times, going through engineering, electronics, law, psychology, medicine, liberal studies, etc. He also demonstrated aptitude as a private flight pilot.

He later moved to Snowflake, Arizona where he decided to focus his interest in the logging area, beginning work as a professional logger. Some time later he began working for the Forest Service.

During his life in Snowflake, working for the Forest Service, Travis suffered an incident in which he claimed to have been abducted by an alien UFO, while working with a team of loggers in Sitgreaves National Park. He disappeared on the night of November 5, 1975, and was found 5 days and 6 hours later, along a highway near Heber-Overgaard, Arizona.

The case caused a great boom among enthusiasts of the UFO phenomenon, and is one of the most famous alleged extraterrestrial abductions, with several books, films and series having been written about it.
